Malachite

Malachite is a green stone of guardianship, growth, and renewal. Its circles resemble eyes; its veins recall a plant, a river, or a labyrinth. Long before modern crystal compendiums, it was used as pigment, cosmetic, amulet, and ornamental material.

It also connects it to Libra and the renewal of spring. This interpretation is late and should not be projected onto all Egyptian amulets. Nevertheless, it constitutes an identifiable historical current in rites of protection and renewal.

Carried while traveling, it can represent a safe return home. Placed near a contract or ledger, it reminds us that Venusian prosperity is also measured by the quality of exchanges.

The circle of protected growth

On a Friday, draw a green circle on a sheet of paper. Write in the center what you wish to develop and, around the circumference, the rule that must protect it. Place the Malachite on the line, with a copper object beside it without rubbing the stone.

Say: “May what grows remain just, and may its boundary remain visible.” Keep the sheet near the project for four weeks. Each Friday, take one growth-oriented action and check that the written rule is still being respected.
