Welcome to Aeternum.
Aeternum, what is it, who are we?
Aeternum is an esoteric shop based in France, created by two practitioners and enthusiasts of occult arts, in their noblest form. France has been a very important crossroads of esoteric influences and has seen the birth of many magicians who have left us an invaluable legacy. Thanks to these valuable works, we offer more than 1900 products dedicated to all practices, all needs, and (almost) all traditions.
By nature meticulous, we have opened the archives of works by Papus, Stanislas de Guaita, Charles Lancelin, Pierre Piobb, Joséphin Péladan, and Madame de Thèbes, who cut through clichés and elevated their ritual practice into a true art form. It is in the tradition of these illustrious predecessors that we work day after day to create the Great Esoteric Store, open to all sensibilities, all curiosities, all enthusiasts, and of course to all magicians, magists & magus.
Today, a team of 3 people travels the world, finds the right tools, rare herbs, traditional blends, prepares orders, answers your questions, and updates our blog on the rich history of Magic.
And thanks to the trust of our increasingly numerous customers (you?), one thing is certain: we are still only at the beginning of the adventure...

The Aeternum logo
You have surely seen this symbol in various fields, but it is its ancient symbolism that inspires us. Known mainly for representing infinity, the Ouroboros is a powerful, multifaceted symbol that embodies all the values of Aeternum:
- The eternal cycle of life and death: the Ouroboros symbolizes eternity and the perpetual cycle of life, death, and rebirth. This concept is sometimes interpreted as the cyclical nature of the universe.
- The unity of opposites: by biting its own tail, the Ouroboros also represents the union of opposites, such as creation and destruction or life and death. Life can sometimes be complex, and it can be difficult to live it like a calm, steady river. That is why spirituality, in any form, can guide you through sometimes troubled or turbulent times.
- Renewal: the serpent (a symbol of knowledge) feeding on its own tail is a symbol of self-sufficiency and constant renewal. This is the essence of sabbats and celebrations: closing one period and opening a new one, full of promises and successes.
- Alchemy and transformation: in medieval alchemy and the Hermetic tradition, the Ouroboros was a symbol of the cyclical nature of matter and spirit, leading to purification and spiritual transformation. This is how every moment in life has its purpose, so as not to fear the next challenges.
