Pink Tourmaline bears the color of flesh, flowers, or raspberries in a crystal crossed by fine lines. Scott Cunningham places it under Venus and Water, in the realms of love, friendship, sympathy, and reconciliation. It does not promise forced passion: it helps make the bond more tender, more honest, and more livable.
The Tourmaline family is also assigned to Gemini by Isidore Kozminsky. This second path gives the stone language and exchange: love is not always enough; people must also be able to talk to each other.

The GIA describes Tourmaline’s wide range of colors and its hardness of approximately 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale. A single stone may combine pink with green, white, or nearly colorless areas.

The hues range from pale pink to deep red. The name Rubellite is reserved in the trade for red or reddish-pink Tourmalines whose color remains vivid under various lighting conditions; therefore, not all Pink Tourmalines are Rubellites.
The criteria of color, clarity, and cut are presented by the GIA. Inclusions and growth tubes are part of the character of many pink crystals: they reveal a living material rather than a uniform surface.
Love, friendship, and reconciliation
In 1922, Isidore Kozminsky placed the Tourmaline family under Gemini in The Magic and Science of Jewels and Stones. This attribution links the stone to Mercury, dialogue, and communication between two people.
In 1988, Scott Cunningham assigned Pink Tourmaline to Venus and Water. He associated it with love, friendship, sympathy, and reconciliation. He also mentioned its combination with Lepidolite to calm relationship conflicts.
Reconciliation does not mean erasure. Venusian gentleness asks neither that you forget a wound nor that you maintain an unjust relationship. It makes speech without cruelty possible, even when that speech establishes a distance.
Venus, Mercury, Water, and Gemini
Venus governs affection, desire, harmony, and the beauty of a gift offered. Water carries emotion and listening. Mercury, through Kozminsky’s Gemini, provides the words, letters, and conversation that heals.
Friday is suited to love, friendship, and self-esteem; Wednesday to clarifying a relationship. Pink, soft green, copper, two cups, and a tied ribbon form its ritual language.
Tenderness, dialogue, and healing
To welcome love, write down the qualities of a viable relationship rather than the name of a person to be compelled. Place the Pink Tourmaline on the paper and choose the quality you can already practice.
For reconciliation, separate what deserves an apology, what requires amends, and what must change. The stone accompanies the conversation; it replaces neither consent nor action.
For friendship, place it between two letters or two small objects. Thank the other person for one specific thing. The bond is strengthened more effectively by concrete appreciation than by a general expression.

On a Friday, place two empty cups facing each other with the Pink Tourmaline between them. In the first, place a piece of paper bearing what you wish to express; in the second, what you are willing to hear.
