The Little Book of Angels
Where do angels come from? How can they be identified? What does Angel's Bread symbolize? Who are the archangels, and why do seraphim have six wings? What is the difference between loves, cherubs, and cupids? And why is Los Angeles under the patronage of angels? This book also explores angelic figures in Islam, including the main angels of that tradition.
Illustrated with chromolithographs and devotional images, this little book is a charming encyclopedia dedicated to angels, those celestial protectors and messengers of God, bearers of a universal dimension.

Where do angels come from and how can they be recognized among other celestial beings? What does the mysterious Angel's Bread represent, and what is the meaning of the six wings of the seraphim? This book explores these fascinating questions and also focuses on archangels, major spiritual guides, as well as the differences between loves, cherubs, and cupids, figures often confused in art and religious tradition.
This work delves into the rich history of angels, including that of Los Angeles, a city placed under their patronage, and also addresses angelic representations in Islam, where certain angels play a central role as messengers and protectors. Accompanied by chromolithographs and devotional images that revive the beauty of angelic figures, this small book presents itself as an accessible and inspiring encyclopedia. It guides the reader in discovering these mystical beings, protectors and messengers of God, present in cultures worldwide and carrying a universal dimension that transcends religious boundaries.

In addition to her academic activities, she founded the company Prose in 2011, where she develops projects around board games and fine books on French culture.
Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.
We work cleanly.
Each package is carefully prepared by us, here in France. Before shipping, it is purified so it arrives at your home cleansed and positively charged. We strive to use recyclable packaging and reduce our impact as much as possible.
We stay available.
Customer service is us. Not an AI, not a robot, not a call center. If you have a question, a doubt, a problem, you reach us—the same people who select the products, write the descriptions, and prepare the packages.
We stay human-sized.
We are a small passionate team with big ambitions, hands in the herbs, books, and boxes. And we want to keep it that way.
— You speak about it best.
