Scott Cunningham (1956-1993) was an influential author and practitioner of Wicca, known for his many contributions to the literature on witchcraft and modern paganism. Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Cunningham moved to California with his family where he discovered Wicca and began practicing witchcraft in his teens.
Cunningham wrote over 50 books on various aspects of Wicca, natural magic, and herbalism. Among his most famous works are Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner and The Complete Book of Incense, Oils, and Brews. These books are especially appreciated for their accessible and practical approach, making Wicca and natural magic understandable and doable for individuals of all experience levels.
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner (1988) is one of his most influential books. It offers a comprehensive and easy-to-follow introduction to Wicca, aimed at those who choose to practice alone rather than within a coven. This book played a crucial role in popularizing solitary Wicca and helped many practitioners begin their spiritual journey independently.
The Complete Book of Incense, Oils, and Brews (1989) is another key work by Cunningham. This book is an exhaustive resource on creating and using various magical blends, providing recipes and instructions for making incense, oils, and potions for various spiritual and ritual uses.
Cunningham was also an accomplished herbalist and wrote several books on plants and their magical uses, such as Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs and Magical Herbalism. His books on herbs are widely regarded as references in the field of magical herbalism.
In addition to his writings, Scott Cunningham was active in the pagan community and contributed to spreading modern pagan practices through his lectures, workshops, and public appearances. Despite his premature death at the age of 36, his influence continues to be felt in the world of Wicca and natural magic. His work remains a source of inspiration and guidance for many practitioners worldwide.
Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.
We work cleanly.
Each package is carefully prepared by us, here in France. Before shipping, it is purified so it arrives at your home cleansed and positively charged. We strive to use recyclable packaging and reduce our impact as much as possible.
We stay available.
Customer service is us. Not an AI, not a robot, not a call center. If you have a question, a doubt, a problem, you reach us—the same people who select the products, write the descriptions, and prepare the packages.
We stay human-sized.
We are a small passionate team with big ambitions, hands in the herbs, books, and boxes. And we want to keep it that way.
— You speak about it best.
