Saints
In Christianity, saints are people recognized for their exemplary life of faith, virtue, and devotion to God. They are considered models of holiness and intermediaries between God and believers, able to intercede on behalf of the prayers of the faithful. The official recognition of a saint goes through a process called canonization in the Catholic Church, which verifies the existence of miracles attributed to their intercession. Saints are honored during specific feast days and sometimes associated with particular causes or professions, thus becoming spiritual patrons for certain communities or situations.
