This small Saint Benedict medal features the classic design of the Cross of Saint Benedict, surrounded by the Latin initials of the famous exorcism prayer: Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux – Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (“May the Holy Cross be my light – May the dragon not be my guide”). On the reverse, it depicts the saint holding the cross and the Benedictine Rule, surrounded by a protective circle.
This medal has been used for centuries as a protective talisman, particularly because it is known to ward off negative influences, dispel spiritual disturbances, and provide a sense of security. It is also the only Catholic medal to contain an exorcism formula.
Made of zamak (a zinc alloy), it is lightweight, durable, and pleasant to handle. Thanks to its compact diameter, you can wear it as a pendant, attach it to a key ring, or carry it in your pocket for continuous passive protection.
