The Great Book of House Spirits
Without us realizing it, a multitude of spirits inhabit our homes. Gnomes, faithful allies of the countryside, bring in the hay and watch over the animals. Elves, sometimes protective, sometimes frightening, hide in dark corners and silently observe the inhabitants. Fairies and sprites enjoy causing mischief: they hide keys, move objects… then make them reappear, as if by magic. And in the shadows of the hearth also watch the guardians: spirits of ancestors, souls of former occupants, lares, leprechauns, brownies, banshees, servans, ghosts…
Through this richly illustrated work, set out to meet this invisible little folk, lurking in every corner of your house, from the cellar to the attic.

We place great importance on ensuring you receive your order in perfect condition.
As preparation experts, we are well equipped: fragile items (minerals, statues) are wrapped in bubble wrap in addition to their packaging, parcels are cushioned with (recycled) air pillows, and we apply all our expertise to secure the products.
If, despite this, an incident occurs during delivery, our Customer Service is at your disposal.
Our products come from all over the world by their very nature. They thus go through a number of more or less intense spiritual waves. As soon as they arrive with us, we purify them to clear any negative energies and offer you items that are light, free, and ready to accompany you in your spirituality.
Upon receiving your order, we also recommend purifying them one last time. To learn how to do this, consult our practical guide!
Our family business, our team, and our inventory are based in France. Furthermore, all products available on our site are physically in stock and shipped quickly as soon as your order is confirmed, to arrive at your home within 1 to 3 business days.

Without us realizing it, our homes shelter a discreet world, inhabited by familiar spirits, much closer than we imagine. These presences, stemming from the popular traditions of many countries, live within the walls, under the floors, or behind closed doors. Gnomes, rustic companions of the rural world, lend an invisible hand to farmers: they bring in the hay, watch over the stables, and ensure the animals stay healthy. Elves, with a more ambivalent nature, can be either benevolent or unsettling. They stay alert in the dark areas of the house, in forgotten attics or under the stairs, where they observe daily routines.
Fairies and sprites, for their part, like to play with the nerves of the inhabitants. They move objects, erase our landmarks, make a bunch of keys disappear before putting it back as if nothing happened. They do not seek to harm but to remind of their presence, between mischief and playfulness. In the silent depths of the house also reside other figures, older and more rooted: the guardians of the hearth. These can be spirits of ancestors, souls attached to the place, or creatures named differently depending on the region – lares, leprechauns, brownies, banshees, servans, or simple ghosts.
Through this beautifully illustrated work, you will discover an invisible but familiar world, made of oral traditions, living superstitions, and forgotten tales. A journey into the corners of the house, from the cellar to the attic, where imagination and daily life intersect without ever truly separating.
Richard Ely, whose real name is Christophe Richard Ely Van De Ponseele, is a Belgian writer and ethnobotanist born on March 20, 1974, in Ghent. This childhood deeply influenced him, awakening a passion for folklore and the fantastic.
After studying humanities and social sciences at the Catholic University of Louvain, he pursued research on vampires, witches, fairies, and elves. He also earned a degree in applied ethnobotany from the University of Lille II, focusing his research on the use of medicinal plants, rituals, beliefs, and superstitions.

Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.
We work cleanly.
Each package is carefully prepared by us, here in France. Before shipping, it is purified so it arrives at your home cleansed and positively charged. We strive to use recyclable packaging and reduce our impact as much as possible.
We stay available.
Customer service is us. Not an AI, not a robot, not a call center. If you have a question, a doubt, a problem, you reach us—the same people who select the products, write the descriptions, and prepare the packages.
We stay human-sized.
We are a small passionate team with big ambitions, hands in the herbs, books, and boxes. And we want to keep it that way.
— You speak about it best.
