Myrrh Mother Tincture
This mother tincture made from Myrrh will allow you to add the ritual and aromatic benefits of this resin to your inks and blends. The earliest uses of these concentrates were found in the Papyri Graecae Magicae (Greek papyri dating from the 2nd to the 5th century BCE) containing rites, prayers, invocations, magical recipes, and ritual instructions.
This mother tincture is suitable for all work related to banishment, closure, and detachment due to its connection to Saturn. You can add a few drops to your ink before writing your formula, drawing your seal, or your sigil.
You can also place a small amount in a dish to diffuse its scent without smoke, or to anoint a ritual object (note that the tincture leaves a layer and may affect certain metals like copper).
This tincture is a traditional maceration of the pure resin in a very strong alcohol for 30 days. It is contained here in a bottle with a dropper cap.
