How to burn incense resin?

The most common method is to place a few grains on a glowing charcoal tablet placed in a heat-resistant incense burner. Wait until the charcoal is fully glowing, then add a small amount of resin. It will gradually melt and release its aromatic smoke.

How to choose your resin based on your intention?

Each resin has its own correspondences and uses.Frankincense is particularly suited to purification and consecration, Myrrh to rites of passage and introspective work, Benzoin to blessing and protection, while other resins support calming, divination, or more specific workings. Can resin be used to purify a space?

Yes. Several resins are particularly suitable for purifying a room, altar, or ritual space through fumigation. The smoke can be directed toward different areas of the space while keeping a window open to ensure good ventilation.

How much resin should be used?

A few grains or small pieces are usually sufficient. A large quantity does not make the ritual more effective and mainly produces more smoke. It is best to start with very little resin, then add more if necessary.
