Seraphim
Seraphim are angels of very high rank in the Christian celestial hierarchy, often described as the closest to God. Their name means "the burning ones," symbolizing their intense and pure love for the divine. In the Bible, they appear in Isaiah 6, where they surround the throne of God, constantly singing "Holy, holy, holy" in praise. They have six wings: two to cover their faces, two to cover their feet, and two to fly, reflecting their humility, purity, and immediate readiness to carry out the divine will. Their main role is the perpetual praise of God and spiritual purification, as illustrated in Isaiah's vision where a seraph purifies his lips with a burning coal.
