Dragon's Blood

Dragon's Blood

General description of Dragon's Blood

Dragon's Blood is a reddish resin extracted from several tree species of the genera Dracaena, Daemonorops, Croton, and Pterocarpus. These trees are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, Africa, and South America. The resin is harvested by cutting the tree's bark, allowing a dark red sap to flow out, which then hardens into pieces of red gum.
