The Miraculous Medal mini pendant reproduces one of the best-known symbols of Catholic Marian devotion. Its origin dates back to the apparitions reported by Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830, on Rue du Bac in Paris. The medal bears, among other things, the invocation “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you,” as well as the symbols traditionally associated with Mary, Christ, and the Church.
With its small size and included cord, this religious medal can be worn, kept in a wallet, slipped into a prayer book, or placed in a devotional space. It accompanies prayer to the Virgin Mary, requests for protection, and intentions entrusted during times of trial. In the Catholic tradition, its value rests on prayer, trust in God, and Mary’s intercession, not on any automatic action by the object itself.
