White Horehound (Marrubium vulgare), also called "Virgin's Herb" or "God's Aid," holds a special place in the spiritual traditions of Europe. Since ancient times, it has been seen as a sacred plant, capable of warding off harmful influences and serving as a true barrier against invisible attacks. Its presence in homes, places of worship, or medicinal gardens testified to unwavering trust in its power of preservation and protection.
A Pillar in Purification and Exorcism Rites
In ancient rituals, White Horehound was one of the essential plants used to purify people and places inhabited by unwanted presences. It was especially involved in exorcism ceremonies where it reinforced the spiritual authority of the ritual.
