The Goetia - Little Key of King Solomon
The Goetia is THE grimoire par excellence. The first part of the Lemegeton, an anonymous treatise on ritual magic written in English in the 17th century, whose main manuscripts are kept at the British Library in London. This work describes the 72 demons corresponding to the 72 astrological pentads and the procedure to summon them. The famous British mage Aleister Crowley published an edition in 1904, of which here is the first French translation. The preface by Hymenaeus Beta, current leader of the OTO, provides essential historical insight to properly understand this essential text for any serious student of the occult sciences.
This edition includes Crowley's handwritten annotations on his personal copy, as well as those of his disciple Gerald Yorke. The engravings by Louis Breton, taken from the sixth edition of Collin de Plancy's Infernal Dictionary, illustrate the magical images of some of the Goetia demons. The work ends with "The Brazen Head," a little-known ritual developed by Crowley in the 1920s to summon Belial. This work marks an important milestone in the French-speaking magical revival of the early twenty-first century.

The Goetia is THE grimoire par excellence, an essential reference in the study of ritual magic. It constitutes the first part of the Lemegeton, an anonymous treatise on ritual magic written in English in the 17th century. The main manuscripts of this work are kept at the British Library in London. The Goetia details the 72 demons associated with the 72 astrological groups of five, as well as the specific procedures to summon them.
The famous British mage Aleister Crowley, an iconic figure of modern occultism, published an edition in 1904. This French edition is the first translation of this fundamental work. The preface, written by Hymenæus Beta, current leader of the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO), provides essential historical insight that allows a full understanding of the scope and importance of this text for any serious student of the occult sciences.
This edition stands out by including Crowley’s handwritten annotations on his own copy, as well as those of his disciple Gerald Yorke, offering unique perspectives and clarifications on the described rituals. Moreover, it is enriched by the engravings of Louis Breton, taken from the sixth edition of Collin de Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal, which illustrate the magical representations of some of the Goetia demons.
The work concludes with "The Brazen Head," a little-known ritual developed by Crowley in the 1920s to summon the demon Belial. This ritual adds an additional dimension to the richness of this grimoire. By bringing these elements together, this edition marks an important milestone in the revival of French-speaking magic at the beginning of the twenty-first century, offering practitioners and researchers an invaluable and deeply enriching resource.
Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) was a British writer, occultist, and mystic, known for his major contributions to modern occultism and the founding of the religious movement known as Thelema. Often nicknamed "the Great Beast 666," he is the author of many influential works, including The Book of the Law, which lays the foundations of his Thelemic philosophy with the maxim "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." Crowley was also an active member of several secret societies, such as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO), where he developed and practiced complex esoteric rituals. His life, marked by controversy and experimentation with various magical practices, continues to inspire and divide occult followers around the world.
Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.
We work cleanly.
Each package is carefully prepared by us, here in France. Before shipping, it is purified so it arrives at your home cleansed and positively charged. We strive to use recyclable packaging and reduce our impact as much as possible.
We stay available.
Customer service is us. Not an AI, not a robot, not a call center. If you have a question, a doubt, a problem, you reach us—the same people who select the products, write the descriptions, and prepare the packages.
