Ray T. Malbrough

Ray T. Malbrough is an American practitioner and author specializing in hoodoo and the folk magical traditions of the southern United States. Born in New Orleans, he grew up in the Cajun region of southeastern Louisiana, where he was initiated into hoodoo during his adolescence, with the support of his mother. At the age of 19, he began working as a reader and advisor in a tea room in New Orleans, gaining a solid reputation as a hoodoo practitioner in the Houma, Louisiana area. In 1982, he graduated from the Seax-Wica Seminary, founded by Raymond Buckland.

Today, Ray T. Malbrough continues to practice as a spiritual advisor and hoodoo worker from his home in Houma. He is also active within the Thibodaux Parapsychology Association in Louisiana.
