We take great care in carefully selecting the stones we offer you. To help guide your choice, we categorize our stones and minerals by quality. Although each stone is unique, beautiful, and a creation of Nature, some result from more or less complex manual work, which affects their finish, appearance, or shine.

We have created three categories:

Initium (A): these stones may have irregular shapes, less shine, and an appearance that might be considered imperfect.
Media (AA): these stones are shiny, visually pleasing, and may have color shades of varying intensity.
Excelsus (AAA): these stones come from meticulous work, are very shiny, have few or no imperfections, and represent the finest part of the mineral.
