Pierre Ripert (September 29, 1946, La Tronche – November 13, 2014, La Rochelle) was a French journalist, historian, and publisher, author of numerous guides, dictionaries, and works dedicated to both history and esotericism.
Graduated from the Centre de formation des journalistes in 1968, he began his career as an editorial secretary at France-Soir, then became a literary critic at Le Figaro between 1970 and 1974. He later held important editorial positions, notably as literary director at Jean-Claude Lattès editions and, later, director of Dervy editions.
