Patti Wigington

Patti Wigington is an author, educator, and pagan priestess recognized for her significant contributions in the fields of paganism and witchcraft. Based in Ohio, she has dedicated over 30 years to teaching and practicing pagan traditions. Patti is the author of several popular books, including Daily Spellbook for the Good Witch, Wicca Practical Magic, and The Daily Spell Journal.

She earned her B.A. in history from Ohio University, where her thesis focused on the relationship between Puritan religious ideals and the treatment of women during the Salem witch trials. As a pagan priestess and ordained clergy, Patti leads workshops and courses on paganism across the United States, sharing her knowledge and experience with a wide audience.

In addition to her books, Patti has contributed to various publications, including the Llewellyn's Herbal Almanac and the Witches' Calendar series. She also served for over thirteen years as the editor of the paganism and Wicca pages on LearnReligions.com.

When she is not working on her writing or teaching projects, Patti enjoys gardening, hiking, and exploring creative ways to repurpose objects. She is also a mother of three adult children and loves sharing fun and spontaneous moments with them.
