The mage Edmond, whose real name was Jules Charles Ernest Billaudot, was a 19th-century French cartomancer and occultist, born in 1829 and died in 1881. Little known to the general public, he left a lasting mark in the world of divination thanks to his creation of the Oracle Belline, a 53-card divinatory deck.
Edmond was renowned for his clairvoyant abilities and predictions, having been consulted by influential figures of his time. His work combined the principles of tarot reading and astrology, making him a respected figure among occultists. Although much of his life remains mysterious, his legacy continues through the Oracle Belline, rediscovered and popularized by the mage Belline in the 1960s.
