Hoodoo Sen Moise

Hoodoo Sen Moise is an experienced Conjure practitioner, also known as Hoodoo or Rootwork. He was initiated at a very young age into these spiritual practices by his grandfather, who trained him to communicate with ancestors. By the age of four, he had already learned to interact with spirits, thus paving the way for a life dedicated to service and spiritual wisdom.

He is now recognized as one of the leading authorities in the field of Hoodoo and the spiritual traditions of the African diaspora. Moise is not only a respected practitioner but also an influential teacher who shares his knowledge through workshops in New Orleans, Salem, and elsewhere in the United States. He is co-owner of the shop "Conjure New Orleans," where he collaborates with other experts to promote and preserve these traditions.

Author of the book Working Conjure: A Guide to Hoodoo Folk Magic, Moise explores the basic materials, rituals, and practices of this tradition, providing insights into the history and culture of Hoodoo. His work aims to make this spiritual practice accessible while honoring its roots and ethical principles
