Franck-William Schaffner, born in May 1952, is a French theologian, speaker, and exorcist, known as the Archbishop-Primate of the Gallican Catholic Church of France. A specialist in comparative religions, esoteric schools, and initiatory orders, he has devoted much of his work to the study of religious traditions and metaphysical sciences.
Ordained a priest in 1975 and then consecrated bishop in 1977 within a jurisdiction stemming from the Patriarchate of Antioch, he founded in 1979 an ecumenical community that later became the Religious Order of Saint Andrew, which he leads as archbishop.
