What would you like to find in Paris?
Start with a tradition or a purpose, then choose objects that serve your practice.
Esoteric
Bookstore
Distinguish history, symbolism and exercise manuals. If you already own an introduction, choose a book that develops a particular question.
Magics
& Rituals
A small altar can be set up only during practice. Check dimensions, keep flammable materials away and let equipment cool before storing.
Divinatory
Tarots
Compare card size, box and booklet language. Match the deck to your tradition and check pouch dimensions before adding one.
Incense
& Smudging
Choose incense only where you can ventilate and supervise burning. Books, cards and symbolic objects also support a practice without combustion.
