Adriana Ayales is an herbalist, remedy creator, educator, and founder of Anima Mundi. Originally from Costa Rica, she launched Anima Mundi several years ago in Brooklyn with the goal of connecting ancient remedies to the modern world. Her ambition is to create a true farm-to-pharmacy experience through the art of making plant-based remedies.
Adriana offers a wide range of remedies and plants from around the world, integrating various traditions she has studied over the years, such as the tribal styles of tropical forests, Ayurveda, Chinese-Taoist medicine, and European-style alchemy. She firmly believes that by preserving these ancient forms of indigenous botany, we keep a sacred part of our origin alive.
Anima Mundi was founded with the intention of bridging ancestral healing traditions and plant-based remedies as a form of basic healthcare for today’s world. Through her work, Adriana seeks to preserve and revitalize indigenous botanical practices while offering natural and accessible health solutions.
