Tarot and divination cards - Illustrated stories
For over 500 years, tarot has established itself as one of the most popular and accessible esoteric tools, whether for introspection or divination. Today, it holds an increasingly important place in our culture. Why this enthusiasm? Because tarot cards, inexpensive and easy to carry, are perfect travel companions, inviting primarily an inner journey. Throughout history, people have been drawn to games and have sought to give meaning to the multitude of signs surrounding them. The rich and evocative imagery of the "arcana" speaks a universal language, capable of touching the heart directly. Each card weaves a story, a metaphorical path that resonates with the human experience.
This 400-page work, beautifully illustrated, offers a fascinating exploration of 500 years of tarot deck history. It decodes, card by card, the imagery of these "arcana," at the crossroads of medieval imagination, Western esoteric wisdom, folklore, but also contemporary art and pop culture. Drawing on hundreds of illustrations from over 100 tarot decks—often forgotten or buried in library archives—this book provides the first complete visual history of this iconic tool. Through this exploration, the reader is invited to discover tarot as a mirror of our universal quest for meaning, connecting eras, traditions, and imaginations.

For over 500 years, tarot has established itself as one of the most cherished esoteric tools, both for personal introspection and divination. It transcends eras, maintaining its relevance in a constantly evolving society. Today, it is experiencing a resurgence of interest and holds an increasingly important place in our contemporary culture. Why such enthusiasm? Because tarot cards, besides being affordable and easy to carry everywhere, are much more than simple objects: they are open doors to an inner journey. They invite the user to explore their emotions, questions, and aspirations, offering a unique space for reflection.
Since time immemorial, humans have been fascinated by games and the search for meaning in the apparent chaos of the signs around them. The "arcana" of tarot, with their rich and evocative illustrations, speak a universal language that transcends words. Each card tells a story, traces a metaphorical path that deeply resonates with the human experience—its joys, trials, and mysteries. In this way, tarot is not just a divinatory tool: it is a mirror of the soul, a bridge between the unconscious and the conscious.
This 400-page work, beautifully illustrated, immerses you in a captivating exploration of the history of tarot through the centuries. Tracing 500 years of graphic and cultural evolutions, it offers a detailed decoding of the "arcana," card by card, revealing their origins and meanings across the ages. At the crossroads of influences from medieval imagination, Western esoteric wisdom, ancestral folklore, as well as modern artistic currents and pop culture, tarot reveals itself in all its richness and diversity.
With hundreds of illustrations drawn from over 100 decks, many of which are rare or forgotten and come from library archives and private collections, this book constitutes the first major visual history of tarot. It highlights the evolution of this emblematic tool, which, over the centuries, has captivated and inspired. Through this work, the reader is invited to discover how tarot reflects, in its images and symbols, the universal quest for meaning that drives humanity. This journey into the world of tarot is not just a dive into history: it is an invitation to explore the subtle connections between eras, traditions, and imaginations, through the unique lens of this timeless art.

Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.
We work cleanly.
Each package is carefully prepared by us, here in France. Before shipping, it is purified so it arrives at your home cleansed and positively charged. We strive to use recyclable packaging and reduce our impact as much as possible.
We stay available.
Customer service is us. Not an AI, not a robot, not a call center. If you have a question, a doubt, a problem, you reach us—the same people who select the products, write the descriptions, and prepare the packages.
We stay human-sized.
We are a small passionate team with big ambitions, hands in the herbs, books, and boxes. And we want to keep it that way.
— You speak about it best.
