Lapis Lazuli is a stone associated with royalty since Antiquity. Its name, meaning "blue stone," reflects its appearance and distinctive hue. The Egyptians valued it highly, using it to enhance their jewelry and decorate the funerary masks of pharaohs. They saw it as a symbol of protection and spiritual connection. Its deep blue, highlighted by golden flecks from Pyrite inclusions, gave it a precious look, enhancing its prestige and appeal.
