The Beltane festival marks the transition from the dark period to the light period. Traditionally, livestock and lands receive a protective gesture to ensure healthy growth until Litha on June 21st. Beltane Sabbat Oil accompanies this transition: its aroma strengthens the intention of fertility, supports the vitality of projects, and guards thresholds against heavy influences. For your Beltane ritual
Before the vigil, place three drops of Beltane Sabbat Oil in a bowl of clear water at the center of the altar. Then anoint a candle and let it burn while formulating an intention related to the protection of resources or the well-being of the home. For a rural charm, draw a fine circle of oil on a pebble then place it in a plant pot or near a barn door. After the flames go out, throw the used water outside the house and keep the scented object until the Litha festival.
