For effective use of Palo Santo, set aside a quiet moment when you won’t be disturbed. This wood is often used to prepare a space for meditation, prayer, or other spiritual activities. Also ensure the area is well-ventilated so the smoke can disperse properly.
Start by choosing a Palo Santo stick. Light one end of the stick with a match or lighter, let it burn for about 30 seconds to a minute, then gently blow out the flame (like incense).
With the smoking stick, move slowly around your body or the object you want to cleanse, focusing your thoughts on clearing and protection. You can also walk through your home or workspace, directing the smoke toward areas where energy feels stagnant. During this process, you may recite prayers or affirmations, or simply remain silent, concentrating on your breath and intentions.
Be careful not to let embers fall on flammable surfaces. Use a heat-resistant container to safely rest the stick. Once finished, make sure to fully extinguish the Palo Santo by crushing it in sand or lightly wetting it if needed. Never leave a lit stick unattended.
Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.

A wood that leaves no one indifferent.
Palo Santo, or "sacred wood," comes from a tree in South America. When it burns, its smoke releases a warm, enveloping, almost comforting scent. It is used to purify a space, soothe the atmosphere, or simply mark a pause. You light it, let the ember breathe, then let it gently go out, like a presence that remains even after it has disappeared. A simple way to bring a bit of calm into everyday life.
