Lunaea Weatherstone is a multifaceted spiritual figure, embracing the roles of priestess, writer, tarot advisor, and creator of oracular objects. Born under the full moon of September 1955, she describes herself as a mix of curious spirit and dreamy soul, an equal blend of "Why?" and "Why not?". From childhood, she was captivated by Greek mythology and nature, finding in reading an open window to invisible worlds and unexplored territories.
Settling in Santa Cruz at the age of 18, a place known for its counterculture and spiritual openness, Weatherstone found a community of dreamers and seekers, exploring her spiritual awakening in an environment conducive to introspection and self-discovery. Her strong intuition, attributed to her Pisces moon, guided her toward a quest for understanding beyond the everyday.
It was during this time that she grew closer to Goddess spirituality, a revelation that marked a decisive turning point in her life. Despite the lack of resources on the sacred feminine at the time, the works of figures such as Starhawk, Merlin Stone, and Carol Christ fueled her passion and connection with the Goddess. She studied and worked under the guidance of Shekhinah Mountainwater, a teacher of Goddess spirituality, who recognized Weatherstone as a priestess in the making.
Her path also led her to deeply engage in the study and practice of tarot, particularly through the Motherpeace Tarot, which connected her interests in tarot and the divine feminine. Weatherstone continued her spiritual quest through various modalities, including herbalism, crystal study, astrology, and many others, enriching her priestess journey with a wide range of esoteric knowledge.
In 1986, she took the helm of SageWoman, a magazine dedicated to awakening and supporting women in their discovery of the divine feminine. This role allowed Weatherstone to build connections among women aspiring to integrate Goddess spirituality into their lives, helping to create a supportive and inspired community.

What is the difference between an oracle and a tarot?
Tarot follows a precise structure, with 78 cards and well-defined suits. The oracle, on the other hand, varies from one deck to another. It can have 30, 40, 60 cards or more. Its content depends on the author. Some oracles are very visual, others more literary. The approach is freer and often more direct, which is very appealing to beginners.
Do I need to have a gift to use an oracle?
