The best time to perform this ritual is during a waning moon phase, as it is a favorable period for banishing and cleansing negative energies. This phase, which follows the full moon and precedes the new moon, symbolizes decline and release, enhancing the effectiveness of practices aimed at cutting or canceling harmful influences. Ideally, the ritual should be performed in the evening, when the ambient energy is calmer and you can fully concentrate.

4. Ritual to remove black magic

4.1. Necessary ingredients

Find the ingredients available in our online esoteric shop Aeternum in the list on the right or at the bottom of this page. There are several versions using regular paper and pen, but here I present the traditional version. You will need:

• 1 black candle
• 1 white candle
• Dead Sea salt
• 1 consecrated mirror
• Camphor incense
• 1 parchment sheet
• 1 writing quill
• Blood of the Dove ink
• Holy water
• 1 protection talisman (optional but recommended)

Note that this ritual is preferably done within a protection circle (elemental, draconic, or other). Only the ritual ingredients themselves are listed here.

4.2. Ritual procedure to eliminate black magic

To perform this ritual, follow this detailed procedure:

1. Purify your space by burning camphor incense. Let the incense spread throughout the room.

2. Place the mirror in front of you, facing outward, like a shield that reflects negative energies back to their source.

3. On the parchment, clearly write using the quill and ink: “I cut and send back all negative energy, all magical attacks, and all malicious intentions directed against me or my possessions.”

4. If you know specific details about the origin of these attacks (photo, clothing, etc.), add them specifying: “No magic done on [photo/vêtements/etc.] can reach me.”

5. Light the black candle and say aloud: “By this dark flame, I consume and annihilate every shadow that reaches me. May the malicious forces return to their origin, disarmed and dissipated. Nothing negative can survive this light.”

6. Then light the white candle and say: “By this clear flame, I restore my shield and harmony. May clarity surround me, protect my mind, and strengthen my soul. I am untouchable, bathed in strength and peace.”

7. Place the mirror behind the black candle, facing outward. Hold the parchment with your intentions and pass it in front of the black candle’s flame (without burning it), saying: “Mirror of truth, send back to their source every destructive intention. May every attack be blocked, every evil returned, purified by justice. May no harm cross this shield.”

8. Mix a pinch of salt in the purified or blessed water. With your fingers, trace a circle around the candles and mirror while saying: “By the salt of the Earth and the water of action, I seal this circle of power. Nothing impure can approach it, nothing dark can break it. Here reign peace, light, and protection.”

9. Extinguish the black candle by pinching it (do not blow it out) and let the white candle burn completely. Keep the mirror visible (facing outward) in your home to continue blocking and sending back negative energies.

5. How long before the ritual produces effects?

As always in magic, the time to feel the effects of this ritual can vary depending on several factors, including the strength of the perceived attack, your level of concentration and intention during the ritual, as well as your emotional and spiritual state.

In most cases, a feeling of lightness, protection, or mental clarity can be felt immediately after the ritual. However, for heavier or persistent attacks, effects may appear gradually over several days as negative energies dissipate and harmony is restored.

If you face an intense or persistent attack, it is recommended to repeat the ritual once a week, preferably during a waning moon, until you notice significant relief. When energies stabilize and you feel protected, a monthly maintenance, always during the waning moon phase, may be enough to maintain this protection and prevent future influences.
