3. Abundance bowl ritual for the new year

Inspired by Feng Shui, the abundance (or prosperity) bowl is a symbolic practice aimed at attracting prosperity and abundance for the new year. Quite simple, this ritual involves preparing a bowl containing several symbolic elements associated with prosperity and success to "serve" and nourish the new year.

1. Why perform the abundance bowl ritual?

Making an abundance bowl at the beginning of the year is a symbolic way to attract prosperity and luck into your life. This ritual invites you to set a clear intention to encourage abundance, whether material, emotional, or spiritual. By gathering elements associated with wealth and success, you create a visual and energetic anchor that strengthens your goals for the coming year. It is also a moment of meditation and gratitude, encouraging a positive attitude toward the opportunities (and challenges) ahead.

2. What Feng Shui principles should be followed for the prosperity bowl ritual?

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice that aims to harmonize energy in spaces to promote prosperity, health, and well-being. Every object or symbolic element placed in a space contributes to attracting specific energies based on its meaning.

The abundance bowl reflects this idea by using elements like rice (a symbol of fertility and life), coins (representing wealth), and herbs or spices (attracting luck and protection). According to Feng Shui principles, it is recommended to place the bowl in a part of the house associated with abundance, usually the southeast area, which is linked to wealth in the Bagua (the energy map used in Feng Shui).
