IN SUMMARY...

Bach flowers are not chemical remedies, nor miraculous potions. They are flower essences developed in the 1930s by Dr. Edward Bach, a British doctor convinced that unexpressed or unbalanced emotions influence physical health. His idea was simple: if you treat the emotion, you relieve tension in the body. And for that, he turned to plants.
These flowers do not cure a disease; they support an emotional state. Each flower corresponds to a specific feeling, such as fear, uncertainty, fatigue, hypersensitivity, sadness, or inner rigidity. The essence helps to bring back an opposite quality: confidence, courage, calm, flexibility, hope.
They are subtle tools, but very concrete. They are taken in drops, directly under the tongue or diluted in water. And they act gently, without force, helping the emotion to rebalance itself.
1. A vibrational action
Bach flowers work on an energetic and emotional level. They do not contain chemical active ingredients like a medicine. The power of the flowers comes from their vibrational imprint, transferred to water by a process of solarization or gentle boiling. What you take is not the plant itself, but the plant’s energy, fixed in a liquid medium.
It is this natural frequency that acts. It does not suppress the emotion. It re-informs it, it offers another inner movement. If you feel overwhelmed, paralyzed, scattered, or stuck, the flower gently restores balance, without force, without opposing yourself.
2. A simple and accessible use
You don’t need to be a therapist to use Bach flowers. You just need to observe yourself honestly, recognize what you feel, and choose the flower that suits you. It is a gentle method, without side effects, which can accompany other approaches: healing, meditation, psychotherapy, or energy work.
You can take them occasionally, for a passing emotion, or for several days if you are going through a longer period. They are suitable for both adults and children, animals, or even plants.
Using Bach flowers is giving yourself permission to feel, but also to get moving again, gently, from within.
