IN THIS SUMMARY...
1. Preparing the plant for this work |
The Rose of Jericho is known for its ability to bring life back, but it also acts as an energy filter. When you place it in a charged space, it doesn’t just decorate or bless: it absorbs, it dissolves, it slows down heavy flows. It is a plant of vigilance, reacting to its environment. When used to ward off negative energies, it becomes a silent guardian, a presence that watches over and cleanses.
1. Preparing the plant for this work
Choose a quiet moment, without any disturbance around you. Place the rose in a clean container with clear water at room temperature. Do nothing else while it opens. This time is for mutual recognition. Observe. Welcome.
Once open, set a clear intention. Ask it to cleanse what no longer belongs, to absorb what disturbs, to push away what weighs down. Don’t use complex sentences. Speak clearly. You can say it quietly or simply think it while placing your hand above the water.
2. Where to place the rose to purify a space?
You can place it near the entrance of your home so it acts as an energetic threshold. It captures influences before they enter. You can also set it in the center of a tense room, in a living room where arguments accumulate, or near a bed if sleep is disturbed.
You can also use it in your personal ritual space to support a session of grounding, meditation, or after an emotional shock. The rose works through its presence. It does not speak. It absorbs and holds.
3. Supporting the purification work
Change the water every day. If it becomes cloudy, opaque, or gives off an unpleasant odor, it’s a sign the rose has absorbed what needed to leave. Thank it, pour this water into the toilet or outside, far from the living area, and replace it immediately.
When you feel the atmosphere lighten, the space become clearer, you can remove the rose from the water and let it dry in a protected place, wrapped in a cloth or in a basket up high.
Some keep a bowl of salt nearby during this work to support grounding and strengthen absorption. You can also light a black or white candle, according to your feeling.
Using the Rose of Jericho against negative energies is setting a gentle but firm barrier. It does not drive away by force. It removes what no longer belongs, silently, with consistency.
