Pierre Mollier

Pierre Mollier is a French historian born in Lyon in 1961, specializing in the history of Freemasonry, iconography, and initiatory traditions. A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies and holder of a degree in religious sciences from the École Pratique des Hautes Études, he directed the library and archives of the Grand Orient of France for nearly thirty years and also served as curator of the Museum of Freemasonry. Author of numerous books and articles, he is recognized for his work on the rites, symbols, and history of Freemasonry. As commissioner of several major exhibitions, he has contributed for decades to the preservation and dissemination of Masonic heritage to both the general public and researchers.
