Davide Furnò

Davide Furnò (born in 1975 in Turin) is an Italian artist with multiple talents: comic book artist, illustrator, sculptor, and master in the art of wax. Trained at the Fine Arts Academy of Turin and then at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan, he began his career in advertising and publishing, collaborating notably with international agencies and companies such as DC Comics, Vertigo, IDW, and Sergio Bonelli Editore.

In the early 2000s, his passion for botanical cutlery led him to rediscover the 19th-century natural wax technique, initiated by Francesco Garnier Valletti. After several years of research, he restored these ancient skills, creating fruits and botanical compositions with hyperrealistic precision. His wax works are exhibited in museums, sold at auctions, and used in advertising and decorative projects.

At the same time, Davide Furnò designed the game Incubus Tarot, where his illustrations feed a dark, dreamlike, and symbolic universe exploring the subconscious and unconscious. His astonishing artistic practice, centered around graphic design, sculpture, and visual storytelling, makes him a unique figure in the contemporary world of art and tarot.
