Cursed - Stories and Legends of Enchanted Objects
The ring that is said to have inspired Tolkien for The Hobbit, the mummy accused of causing the sinking of the Titanic, the cloth doll behind the Annabelle films, a Japanese sword soaked in blood, a wooden chair you’d better never sit on... Whether displayed in strange museums or missing, these objects are just simple artifacts, yet they are said to be cursed.
Their stories, always unique and sometimes tragic, have spawned legends, marked the collective imagination, and inspired writers and filmmakers. Across ages and continents, this work traces the fascinating journey of more than forty of these enchanted artifacts, revealing an unsuspected side of our past and its curses.

The ring that is said to have inspired Tolkien for The Hobbit, the mummy accused of causing the sinking of the Titanic, the cloth doll that became the terrifying heroine of the Annabelle films, a Japanese sword whose blade was supposedly dipped in the blood of its victims, a wooden chair on which simply sitting would bring a terrible curse… These objects, hidden in private collections, displayed in curious museums, or missing, appear to be mere artifacts. Yet, they carry troubling stories, fueled by rumors, chilling testimonies, and unexplained accidents. From generation to generation, their sinister reputation has grown, feeding fears and superstitions.
Their stories, sometimes tragic, always intriguing, have shaped legends that span the ages, influencing popular culture and inspiring novelists and screenwriters alike. Whether seen as simple objects charged with strong symbolism or as true catalysts of occult forces, their existence raises questions about the links between the tangible and the invisible.
This work immerses you in the heart of these mysteries and traces the fascinating journey of more than forty of these enchanted artifacts. From ancient Egypt to Victorian curiosity cabinets, from feudal battlefields to modern auction houses, it reveals an unsuspected facet of our past, where history flirts with the inexplicable and where curses seep into reality.

Here, we don’t judge.
No matter where you come from, what you believe in, or what you’re looking for: you belong here. You can be a beginner, curious, a casual practitioner, or a daily witch. What matters is sincere intention.
We believe in all forms of magic.
High magic and its rigorous rituals deserve as much respect as spells passed down in the countryside. We read grimoires, respect rites, listen to old stories. Everything practiced with faith deserves serious and curious attention.
We welcome all traditions.
We don’t put one path above another. We talk hoodoo, kabbalah, Christian prayers, elemental magic, folk rituals, Celtic symbols. What matters is respect. Not the label.
We work cleanly.
Each package is carefully prepared by us, here in France. Before shipping, it is purified so it arrives at your home cleansed and positively charged. We strive to use recyclable packaging and reduce our impact as much as possible.
We stay available.
Customer service is us. Not an AI, not a robot, not a call center. If you have a question, a doubt, a problem, you reach us—the same people who select the products, write the descriptions, and prepare the packages.
We stay human-sized.
We are a small passionate team with big ambitions, hands in the herbs, books, and boxes. And we want to keep it that way.
— You speak about it best.
