As you may know, behind Aeternum is a small business based in Brittany (in the south of Finistère to be precise). And it is well known that this region lives to the rhythm of legends, myths, and magical practices more or less known (Brocéliande, Merlin, the Fairy Viviane, the Alignments, and many others). So, to highlight our beautiful region, we will regularly publish little-known legends from Breton history.

This imposing 50-ton stone can be set in motion by a simple press of the little finger in the right spot. According to tradition, only faithful men can make it wobble; unfaithful husbands would be unable to do so. Thus, husbands returning from sea would come to test their partner's fidelity by trying to move the stone.
Another legend tells the story of Mao and Corentine. Mao, wanting to ensure Corentine's love, consulted a jealous sorcerer who advised him to go to the trembling stone. If it moved, it would mean that Corentine did not love him (yes, the opposite of the traditional interpretation). The stone having wobbled, Mao, desperate, is said to have drowned at sea.
For a bit of history, with the arrival of Christianity in Brittany, a religious attribute was given to this stone by placing a cross on its top. This cross mysteriously disappeared a long time ago...
