1. Why purify a piece of jewelry before using it magically?
A piece of jewelry carries a memory. Every hand that has touched it, every place it has passed through, every emotion linked to its use has been imprinted on it. Before turning it into a talisman, it is necessary to erase this memory so the object can receive a new function.

3. How to purify a piece of jewelry before charging it?
A piece of jewelry is purified by one of the four elements: water, smoke, light, or earth. Water suits non-fragile materials: a rinse under clear running water is enough. Smoke from Bay, Sage, or Juniper can be directed around the jewelry. Sunlight or moonlight can both charge and cleanse it. Earth absorbs, especially for heavily charged objects: a night in a small container of salt or a clay pot works well.
Purification should not be mechanical. The jewelry is held for a few moments in the hands beforehand to set a simple intention: “I make it neutral.” Breath, gaze, and the warmth of the fingers participate in the process.
Once purified, the jewelry should be placed aside, in calm, before being recharged with a new direction.
4. What to do after purification?
A purified piece of jewelry becomes a blank support. It carries nothing anymore. It is ready to receive. It can now be charged according to the intention: with an oil, a fumigation, a breath, a light, a fabric, or simply a deliberate gesture.
