IN THIS SUMMARY...
1. Choosing the Right Moment |
The Rose of Jericho is not an ordinary plant. It is not planted, does not grow, does not bloom. It opens, or closes. And this movement, slow, silent, powerful, marks the beginning of a ritual. Awakening this plant is much more than a practical gesture. It is an invitation to renewal, a call to life, a promise of opening. The moment you place the rose in the water sets the tone for everything you want to initiate.
1. Choosing the Right Moment
You don’t reactivate the rose randomly. You choose a calm, available, aligned moment. Morning, new moon, a Friday, a Sunday, or a symbolic starting day (new month, change of season) are often favorable. But more than the date, it is your inner state that matters.
If you want to activate an energy of prosperity, choose a clear, bright moment. If you want to turn a page, prefer a day of silence, withdrawal, refocusing. The awakening of the rose must correspond to a threshold you are ready to cross.
2. The Opening Gesture
You take a shallow bowl, a deep plate, or a wide container. You pour room temperature water, preferably non-chlorinated (spring water, filtered water, or rainwater). You place the rose rounded side down, the roots touching the water. You do not drown it. The water should not cover it, just touch its base.
You can say a simple phrase, silently or softly. Not a fixed formula. A clear intention, calmly set at the moment you place it.
You leave it alone. It does not open before your eyes. It takes its time. In a few hours, the first branches spread apart. In a day or two, it opens widely. This pace is the beginning of the magical work.
3. Respecting Its Process
You do not touch the rose while it opens. You do not force anything. It does not belong to you. You accompany it. Each opening is different. If it opens quickly, it means the passage is ready. If it takes time, it means the space is slowly preparing. You observe, you adjust your inner rhythm to that of the plant.
While it opens, you can place an object in the center (coin, stone, paper with a word). You can also change the water daily, gently, without rushing the branches.
Awakening a Rose of Jericho is giving a signal. It is not a test. It is an act of presence. A way to tell the universe: “I am ready for it to open.”
