1. Which dagyde should you choose for this type of work? |
The dagyde candle gives shape to a specific request. In a working of justice or truth, it becomes a tool for setting an intention of clarity, fairness, or reparation. It is not about punishing or manipulating. It is about restoring a broken balance, bringing what has been hidden to light, or returning to each person what is rightfully theirs. This type of ritual requires a clear framework because it engages a genuine tension.
1. Which dagyde should you choose for this type of work?
You can choose a black dagyde if you want to act firmly, set a boundary, or call for a return to fairness in an unjust situation. You can also use a gray dagyde to work on the truth without seeking conflict. A white dagyde may be suitable if the aim is to make a neutral decision, without anger.
You personalize it with the name of the person concerned, or with your own name if the work concerns your position in a dispute or an injustice you have suffered. You can also associate it with a keyword written on the wax: “truth,” “justice,” “reparation,” or any term that focuses your intention.
2. How do you set the intention of justice?
You are not asking for punishment. You are asking that the truth manifest, that actions be seen, and that masks fall away. You can charge the dagyde with rue or eucalyptus oil, or surround the space with bay leaves and myrrh. Clearly state the intention: “I ask that the truth reveal itself.” You are not inventing a story. You are asking that the facts appear as they are.
You can also place a piece of paper beneath the dagyde with a written description of the situation, a first name, a date, or wording that summarizes the matter.
3. What should you do during the burning?
Light the dagyde in a quiet space. Stay focused on your intention: that everything that has been hidden rises to the surface, and that actions find their proper weight. You can visualize a light piercing the darkness, or a knot slowly coming undone.
If the flame vibrates strongly, or if the wax bursts or cracks, this may reflect tension that is still active. Let the candle burn all the way down. Do not interrupt the work in progress. The complete burning marks the symbolic unfolding of the revelation.
4. What should you do after the ritual?
Collect the wax. You can bury it if you want the truth to remain rooted. You can also throw it away far from your home if you want to close a cycle without remaining attached to the energy of the conflict. If you are working on a legal situation, you can place a trace of wax in a symbolic envelope and keep it until the process is complete.
Working with justice or truth through a dagyde means asking that reality reclaim its place, without disguise or manipulation. Through this clear request, you open the way to a profound rebalancing.
