How to use a dagyde candle for protection?

A dagyde candle can become a symbolic shield. Its human shape allows you to channel a targeted protective intention, whether for yourself or someone else. It acts as a wax double that you charge to stand firm, resist, ward off, or create a safe space around an energetic body. In this type of work, the dagyde does not burn to attract, but to form an invisible barrier.

1. How to prepare the dagyde for protective work?

Choose a black, white, or gray dagyde candle, depending on the type of protection you want to establish. Black helps absorb hostile influences. White stabilizes. Gray blocks gently without causing harm.

You can write on a piece of paper what you want to protect the person from, fold it, and place it beneath the dagyde. As the wax melts, it seals the message.

3. What to do after the ritual?

Once the candle has burned down, gather the remaining wax. You can bury it near your home if you want the protection to accompany you daily, or discard it somewhere far away if you want to cut off all influence. You can also keep some of the wax in a small pouch, to carry with you or place in your home.

You can repeat this ritual when you feel the protection weakening, or ahead of a difficult period. The dagyde does not act alone. It supports an inner decision: to stand firm.
