On which surfaces can ritual ink be used?

What instrument should I use to write with ritual ink?

A A quill, pen holder, reed pen, or fine brush is particularly suitable. Some workings may call for an instrument consecrated or reserved exclusively for magical writing.

Can ritual ink be used in a fountain pen?

This is not recommended unless otherwise indicated. Inks containing pigments, resins, plant extracts, or natural deposits can clog a fountain pen’s feed. A dip pen is much more suitable and easier to clean.
