Saint Mary Magdalene, you who knew how to repent
of your sins and find redemption through
humility, you know how heavy the sufferings
of the heart are and how painful they are, just like
those of the body.
Saint Mary Magdalene, you who through tears
finally found rest for the soul, help me
find serenity, help me overcome this
grief that devours me and turns me away from the
Path of the Lord, which is universal Love,
opposite to the ways of Satan which are lust and
carnal passion to which I have succumbed,
you had the courage to do so:
Saint Mary Magdalene, you who received from
Jesus the forgiveness of your mistakes, protect me
always, like a big sister,
