Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) is associated with Jupiter in occult correspondences and supports workings related to favor, success, and improving a situation. This Jovian dimension connects it to workings of expansion, progress, and the pursuit of favorable circumstances. It can notably be incorporated into workings concerning professional life, social standing, material affairs, or any endeavor in which one wishes to see one's situation develop favorably.
A Plant of Favor and Progress
Agrimony supports workings intended to promote success, obtain support, improve one's position, or facilitate positive change. It can be used in workings related to a promotion, a professional endeavor, a request addressed to an influential person, or more broadly in workings intended to attract advantageous circumstances. Its correspondence with Jupiter makes it a particularly suitable plant for intentions of growth and elevation.
An Ancient Reputation Linked to Disclosure
Agrimony also has a darker history connected to beliefs surrounding witchcraft and its detection. During the period of witchcraft persecutions, it appeared in beliefs and preparations that were attributed with the ability to reveal occult influences or assist in identifying people suspected of witchcraft. This legacy now gives it a symbolic dimension of disclosure and protection. It can therefore support workings for favor, success, progress, protection, and the revelation of hostile influences.
