1. Does the dagyde act directly on the body? |
The dagyde candle represents a body. When used for yourself, it becomes a direct energetic reflection. You are then working on a form that symbolizes and represents you here and now. This type of ritual can be very powerful, but it requires a clear mindset. It is not dangerous if the intention is stable, sincere, and clearly formulated. The real risk lies not in the tool, but in inner confusion at the time of the work.
1. Does the dagyde act directly on the body?
Not physically. But energetically, yes. A dagyde charged for yourself acts as a link between your intention and your personal energy field. It allows you to work more precisely on an area, a situation, a wound, or a blockage. This is not a game. Nor is it a passive mirror. It is a living form that you consciously activate.
If you set a clear intention of protection, healing, or strengthening, the dagyde acts as a support. If you project fear, anger, or strong doubt onto it, it may reinforce inner agitation instead of calming you. The substance of the work matters just as much as its form.
2. How can it be used safely?
Before lighting it, take a moment to center yourself. Do not set a vague or clumsy intention. Do not phrase it as “I want to be different” or “I want to change everything.” Use a simple sentence: “I protect myself,” “I release this tension,” “I strengthen my clarity.” You can write your first name on the wax, apply oil to the heart or forehead of the candle, and charge it gently, without rushing.
Stay nearby while it burns. Observe, listen, and feel. If something comes up, welcome it without running away. The dagyde also acts as a revealer.
This is not dangerous. It is an interpretation of what you carry.
3. Are there any specific precautions?
Yes. Do not perform this type of ritual during a period of severe emotional instability. If you are in crisis, it is better to wait for a calmer moment. The dagyde amplifies what is set into it. It does not heal by magic. It supports a process.
Do not repeatedly use dagydes for yourself. Let one ritual unfold, breathe, and take root. You can repeat the work later, but not in an emergency.
Using a dagyde for yourself means committing to yourself. It means setting a course of healing and strength. And in this presence, there is no danger. There is simply great responsibility.
