How to Use a Magical Oil in Magic?

Magical oils are valuable allies in my practices. Their power is not limited to their fragrance or texture; they carry a specific energy that can amplify a ritual, strengthen an intention, or seal spiritual work. Using them properly requires some attention, as each oil has its own vibration and is used according to specific methods.

1. How to choose a magical oil?

Before incorporating a ritual oil into my practice, I take the time to identify my intention. Each oil is prepared with plants, resins, or essences that give it particular properties. An oil dedicated to love, such as rose or jasmine oil, will not be suitable for a protection ritual, where ingredients such as rosemary or myrrh are more appropriate.

Esoteric oils come in different forms: some are pre-charged and ready to use, while others require consecration before use. I also check their composition. A pure oil, without synthetic additives, retains a rawer energy and is more effective in my rituals.

2. How to apply a magical oil?

Esoteric oils can be used in several ways during a ritual. When I prepare a magical sachet, a few drops help amplify its effect. On a talisman or parchment, they seal the written intention and ensure a steady diffusion of energy.

In a ritual bath, they help purify or attract certain vibrations. To do this, I mix a few drops with a neutral base before adding them to the water, so that the oil does not float on the surface.

Oils are also used in prayers and invocations. By placing a drop on my hands before expressing an intention, I create a direct connection with the invoked energy.

4. How to store a magical oil?

Ritual oils retain their effectiveness when stored under proper conditions. I keep them away from light, in tinted glass bottles, to prevent deterioration. Exposure to heat or air can alter their properties and reduce their power.

I also take care to handle them with clean hands and close the bottle immediately after use. A well-preserved oil can last for several months or even years while retaining its energy intact.
